Our current program runs seasonally and has a range of workshops on offer for adults, families and kids.
Bookings are essential and can be made via the link below.

Group Tours
Participants will get the opportunity to learn about what a co-operative is and go behind the scenes of the Resource Tip Shop to see our operations in action. On any given day this may include visiting our salvage, sorting, scrap, e-waste, arts parts, collectables and timber processing teams in action. All Resource Tip Shop Tours finish with a visit to our shop where participants are welcome to shop at the end of the tour. This is a fascinating look into the operation of our unique social enterprise.
Tours are approximately 1 hour in duration and are generally delivered Monday – Friday, between 9:00 am and 3:45 pm.
The cost is $55 for schools, childcare and not for profits and $70 for government organisations and for-profit businesses (GST included). Interested in a weekend tour? Contact us and let’s discuss.

Group Workshops
Our Workshops are perfect for Tasmanian schools, home-school and community groups as they provide the opportunity to discuss issues relating to sustainability and responsible waste management. We provide educators / skill sharers, facilities and materials and can tailor an activity to suit you and your group. Most workshops are delivered at the South Hobart Tip Shop, however, we can deliver workshops at schools, community centres or events.
Workshops cost $290 (1 hour), $320 (2 hours) and $360 for (2 hours).
