There is no charge for visits but BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. It is vital for the safe operation of our site that we are aware of groups visiting. Resource engages in public education regarding environmental sustainability, not only through its profile as a re-use shop but also through involvement with community events. Resource runs the annual community art exhibition, Art From Trash, in which we invite people to create works of art from discarded objects & materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. Resource is also a regular participant at the Sustainable Living Expo as well as other similar events such as the  Treadlightly Envirofest at the Royal Botanical Gardens. We have also run Art From Trash workshops at schools and school conferences.
